Hey guys, today will be my last post for this assignment, i had a great time blogging actually, didn't know blogging was so much fun. You can just basically express whatever you want to say and share your thoughts to other people, the preparations for mid term so far had been going pretty good, got the chance to hit the library with some course mates to discuss about the mid term and the questions. I did mention in the previous post that im not going out for the weekend and would be studying my ass of for this midterm, some ex classmates are coming up for the pitbull 12 hour party and this is giving me a hard time whether should i go or not. Im afraid that i wont study after the party and end up sleeping the whole day, urgh! i guess i'll just decide tomorrow.
Anyway class ended pretty early today and mr.winston reminded all of us to study what we should and do all the last minute adjustments to the blog, i got right home after class and im here sitting down in front of the computer entering my last post. So far i think ameera and the gang had already studied, all of them seem to have no worries at all and look so fine, well guess their the smarties in class. Going to flip through mass comm and fm later to get more understanding, i think im gonna burn midnight oil tonight and finish all the chapters by tomorrow so that i only need to flip through by sunday, to be honest i really really doubt that the questions would be easy, no more the objective questions you get in elementary school. I used to have a very very close and good friend in class, we used to laugh alot during lectures, i remember that someones always saves a seat for me in class as i always turn up late, i dont know what happened and we're not talking now, guess maybe things are not the same anymore. Sigh for those who are reading this and wondering what is this about.......Just ignore it okay?
Mid term is on monday and i hope all my course mates are well prepared for it, i personally believe that in life we gotta go the hard way first then only we can achieve success and get our desired wants and success. I hereby wish all the march intake mass communication students all the best in next week's midterm and hope all of you score with flying colors after all the efforts put in. And to mr.winston the very happening lecturer, im sorry for being late all the time and always doing last minute work. For all ya readers and bloggers out there, thank you if you like my blog and im sorry if i did offended anybody in my posts. BYE BYE bloggie!

three more days to the big day

Electronica-music
As always teens now days surrounds themself with music all the time, even a simple cafe plays music for it's diners to listen to, people listen to music almost every day in their life, it may be in the car, in the toilet, in the club, work, bar and much more places, listening to music can relax our senses and might even cheer up our day.
Music is divided to many genres and types, there's rock, pop, dance, hip-hop, trance and many other types of music that caters to different age groups. My personal favourite type of music is electronica and symphonic music, being involved in the band had already teached me alot about music and how to appreciate it. Electronica is basically electro trance which is created using turntables and mixers, Trance is a genre of electronic dance music that developed in the 1990s. Trance music is generally characterized by a tempo of between 130 and 155 BPM, short melodic synthesizer phrases, and a musical form that builds up and down throughout a track. It is a combination of many forms of music such as industrial, techno, and house. The origin of the term is uncertain, with some suggesting that the term is derived from the Klaus Schulze album Trancefer (1981) or the early trance act Dance 2 Trance. In any case, the name is undoubtedly linked to the ability of music to induce an altered state of consciousness known as a trance. The effect of some trance music has been likened to the trance-inducing music created by ancient shamanists during long periods of drumming. The trance-music branch of electronica share a fondness for open-ended marathon dancing, fluorescent colors and neo-hippie fashion as well.
My favourite electronic music artist would be dj tiesto and armin van buuren, tiesto is a dutch musician,dj and record producer of electronic dance music,In 1997 he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the Magik and In Search of Sunrise CD series. In 1999 and 2000 he collaborated with Ferry Corsten to create Gouryella. His 2000 remix of Delerium's "Silence" featuring Sarah McLachlan exposed him to more mainstream audiences. In 2001 he released his first solo album In My Memory which gave him several major hits that launched his career. He was named "World’s No.1 DJ" 3 consecutive times by DJ Magazine from 2002 through 2004.Just after releasing his second studio album Just Be in 2004, at the Summer Olympics he performed live at the opening ceremony in Athens, Greece, becoming the first DJ to play live on stage at an Olympics Games, no doubt that millions in the world enjoy listening to tiesto's music and im proud to be one, my favourite track from tiesto is dance for life!
Armin van buuren is also a dutch dj and was also voted number 1 in the dj top 10 list, basically a rival to tiesto,Van Buuren began his DJ career at club Nexus in Leiden, where he learned to play long DJ sets, which were regularly six to seven hours per set.During school holidays he played more than four times a week. In 1999, he met Dave Lewis who introduced him as a DJ in England and the United States. His career accelerated, entering the DJ magazine Top-100 in November 2001 at Number 27. He has played in more than 25 different countries and can often be found on the main stage at big summer festivals. Van Buuren played a record-breaking twelve and a half hour set for Dancetheater in The Hague netherlands. In the United Kingdom he performs regularly at Passion (resident 2002), Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Slinky, Ministry of Sound, Peach and Golden. Mixing almost the same music like tiesto buuren previously attended (2008) global gathering event in malacca (recharge) I was there and i totally enjoyed his music all night long.
Not forgetting im taking up a extrea electronic music course with dj biggie and goldfish from zouk now, i am always inspired by the wonders in electronic music and it never stops to trigger my interest in it, once you start listening and you'll never get bored, how i hope they have some kind of electro music club in taylors, that would be cool, anyway here's a couple of good tracks from tiesto and buuren. Enjoy!

Exams next week!
Joined this program in late march and here come the exams, just a blink of an eye and it almost two months since the first day i enrolled, time flies seriously, i've been loitering around alot and have not really got the chance to sit down and look at my notes or slides on blackboard 7(taylors portal) exams like next week and im still out every night with friends, sigh really gotta start studying before i sit for the exams, sometimes i hate myself for being sucha last minute person, i still remember when spm was around the corner, i only started studying in september, where else everybody was like just revising and flipping through their reference books, i really regret for not starting early that time, if i started early i could have got a A for my b.m, well there's no point talking about the past, might as well just learn from it and continue on right? that means im not going for the pitbull event this weekend and im hitting the books at the library to prepare myself for the midterms, I really hope i'll find a efficient and effectice way to start studying for mid term, im real looking forward to the holidays after midterms, plenty of plans in mind *evil laughs
Im actually kinda stuck with the format and stuff, dont even have a clue of what's going to come out, i usually get very anxious and worried before an exam, its like i have some big mountain to climb and my brain just shuts down and i'll probably end up going online to chat with friends, im worried that i'll write down my answers wrongly on the answer sheet and when the results doesnt come out as expected. So far mr. winston had already gave us some heads up about what's going to be questioned and told us what to study about already, but of course i would prefer like a trial question or some sort of questions that would relate to what's coming out so that i'll get better understanding and maybe figure out what will the lecturer come up with. As for css and mass comm the lecturers had already told us what is going to come out and we only need to study certain chapters, for i.t if im not mistaken ms.sureka said that we only need to do a microsoft word document during the test.
I must do well in this test as mr.winston said this is easier than the final exam, if i do bad in the final at least i still have enough marks to cover for my entire marks, alot of my other course mates seem to be ready and geared up for this mid term, well i might as well buck up and make sure i dont get left behind, i've persuaded my parents and promised them i'll score and do well in this, failure is not included in my planner and i hope that at the end of the day i'll be satisfied with what i did and look back with a smile on my face, and not looking back and regret after my unwanted actions. Time to hit the slides now people, i'll update about the progress in my next post k? take care ya'll!

The red birds
Since the day i started watching football with my cousins at home till today watching it with college mates and friends at the mamak stall, i still have no doubts that Im a strong supporter of liverpool fc, many say that liverpool players cant play for shit and only gerrad and torres are the one's who matters in the game, some even say that liverpool should change their name to liverfool's cause they keep losing every season. Well as for my opinion what matters the most is how the team play and as long as they stay in the season and try their best its good enough already, i basically like all the players in the club except for lucas, wouldn't wanna exaggerate about him anyway, he should seriously go over to MAN U if you know what i mean. *shakes head so I'll give a little introduction about the club below okay.
Liverpool Football Club is a professional football club based in Liverpool, England which plays in the Premier League and is one of the most successful in the history of English football, winning more trophies than any other English club. Liverpool has won a joint-record eighteen league titles, seven FA Cups, seven League Cups, three UEFA Cups and five European Cups, an English record. The club was founded in 1892 and won five league championships between 1900 and 1947.However, Liverpool spent several years in the Second Division during the late 1950s, and did not win promotion again until the appointment of Bill Shankly as manager in 1959. The club traditionally played in red and white, but this was changed to all red in the 1960s.Under Shankly's management, Liverpool won three League Championship titles, two FA Cups and a UEFA Cup, the club's first European trophy. In the past 30 years, they have been one of the most successful clubs in English and European football; they won four European Cups between 1977 and 1984 and a fifth in 2005. Not forgetting Liverpool F.C. has played at Anfield since its formation, but plans to move to a new stadium in Stanley Park, which was supposed to be completed by 2011 but has been put on hold until economic conditions improve. Liverpool has a large fan base which holds long-standing rivalries with several clubs. The most notable of these rivalry would be Ahem* the red devils, everton and arsenal. Manchester united may have all the good players and call themself the best among all, so what? they played with liverpool and lost 4-1 the previous season shame on you man u supporters, and to be honest, do you guys think that alot of people support manchester is just because of their popularity?
I myself strongly agree with football fans out there saying that liverpool football club is starting to turn in to a joke after their losses this season, we may not play well this season, but there's still much more season's and league's to go right? anyway liverpool had changed their previous carlsberg logo jersey to their new sponsor company logo standard chartered. I'll include some pictures of the stadium and the new jersey later aye? I'll include some news that i sourced from the web later to let you guys know more about what's happening in the latest season aye?.
Everybody has their own favourite player in the club and as for me my favourite player in liverpool fc would be steven gerrad, being the most experienced player and captain in the team gerrard never fails to play like a champ and definitely can cope well with all the other players in the team. I even bought his jersey and wear it every single time he plays, now this is what i call a die hard fan *giggles. Alright here's the news and i hope you enjoyed what you read peeps!
Liverpool’s season is going from bad to worse and after losing to rock bottom Portsmouth, the Reds are sitting big eight points adrift of the top 4 place. Two weeks ago, I have written about how this team need a major rebuilding and that is becoming evident by the minute. The only way for Rafa Benitez to save this season is by signing new players in January and these are the positions that need to be severely strengthened in the following transfer window.
Even though some of you probably won’t agree with me, I see Emiliano Insua as the weak link in the otherwise not so bad back line. The Argentine played almost every game this season but I am convinced he doesn’t have the qualities to play at the highest level. His positioning is questionable and when we add the lack of height to the mix, this becomes a real problem. He doesn’t offer us a lot of options when going forward and his passes are constantly going backwards, which slows the team down a great deal.
In my opinion, Gareth Bale would be a great option on the left hand side since the boy has a lot of potential and I really cannot believe he is just a fringe player at Tottenham. Harry Redknapp obviously prefers Benoit Assou-Ekotto and he would probably be willing to listen to offers for the Welshman. Bale is one of the most attacking full-backs you will find and is also a big danger from set-pieces, and I certainly believe he would be an instant hit at Anfield.

The lakeside campus part 2
It's been a couple of days since the school of communication moved in, well after the last painful experience i had that i mentioned in my previous post, i am now riding my bike to college every single day no matter what time of the day. The traffic remains the same each day and i think everybody is used to being caught in the jamm, well as long as you reach college in time then its fine right? Who cares?
I've explored the campus myself and went to the library to do some discussions about assignments and such, well i can definitely say that the library is very futuristic and well equipped, discussion rooms, comfy chairs, the mac room, the printers section, etc Very convenient indeed, discussion rooms are not hard to get and sufficient to all students also, just show your id at the counter and return the key before the time limit given then you're fine, good for group assignments aye? much more better than doing it at starbucks or some cafe with so much of distraction and end up talking to each other.
I was talking to hazman the other day and i mentioned about the sport facilities in the campus, there's a futsal, netball, basketball, tennis court near the parking lot, and according to some friends they say that the taylors dodge ball team is the best in malaysia, so i popped by the court in the evening and saw alot of students playing dodge ball in the basketball court, and not only boys are the one's playing, even the girls are involved too, i feel it's good to enjoy yourself and get involved in sports after class to let out the stress or pressure in you, rather than staying at home facebook-ing the whole afternoon right? so i told hazman to get some friends and we'll play futsal tomorrow. Some students from foundation in mass comm turned up and we we played 3 on 3, hazman introduced me some of them and we started playing from 3 to 6, maxed out myself and died on the bed when i got home, i could barely move and my joints are starting to ache badly, turned in early that night without having dinner. Well at least i had a good sweat for the day.
Im starting to get along with the food at the cafeteria already, the food that i like best is the chicken rice and fish and chips from dessert bar, had any of you guys tried the nasi lemak from sister's crispy popiah before? every single day there's so many students craving for their nasi lemak, the chicken is crispy and the sambal is just nice to blend in with the rice, very filling and appetizing meal i can say. Other than that the norweigan sandwichches serves very nice waffle's and charge only rm2.80 for it, reasonable enough if you ask me. Basically the lakeside campus is fine for me and i am satisfied for what my parents paid, the only problem is the facilities are not up and complete yet for the students, I really hope everything would be in place before i finish my diploma and can get to see the developement in this lakeside campus. Okay i think this wraps up my post about the lakeside campus, updates coming next week peeps!
Here's a couple of pictures of the campus

The lakeside campus
I was very anxious and excited about starting class at the new lakeside campus, so i got up early on monday and was on my way to the campus by 7.30am, traffic heading towards the lakeside was terrible, even the motorbike lanes were blocked by cars, I reached the campus at 7.45 and was searching high and low for the class till hazman texted me the exact floor and how to get there. Went in the class and saw mr.winston trying to set up the projector for the slides, not much people were in class as they were still stuck in the jamm. As usual peeps who are late came in with the ''I'm sorry face' and a smile on their face, well luckily mr.winston was understanding enough not to mark them late.
So lecture ended around 9.30 and we all headed to the recezz canteen for refreshments, i was damm hungry and got myself a packet of nasi lemak and iced milo, the nasi lemak was okay for me and the milo was the most satisfying milo i ever drank in my entire life! it's so rich in flavor and it's only 1.80 a cup. But unfortunately for other food like chicken rice, nasi briyani, noodles etc is kinda expensive for canteen food. Plus according to hazman the noodles suck to the max and all he tasted was sweetness in it, well i think we wouldnt wanna fall for diabetes so soon aye?. The classrooms are much more comfortable compared to lcs, new tables and chairs plus the aircond is much more colder too, can still feel cold despite the glazing sun out there, I passed by then lecture theater and it looked good to have class in it, so spacious and the seats are so comfy.
I had a few assignments to do that day so I got home right after class to bathe and drive my car to the campus instead of riding under the hot sun plus i thought i might be lucky enough to find a nice parking, reached the campus and was searching high and low for a parking, there was no parking lot at all near the main block and the futsal court, was driving round and round till somebody got out from a lot, reversed the car in and took my laptop with me to the library to meet up with zoey and gang, we were basically talking instead of discussing, didnt did much and left for Asia cafe for pool, as i was pulling out my car keys from my pocket i had a glaze at my car and saw a thick black line near the fender, turned out to be somebody accidentally hit my car and left without saying bye, thanks la now i gotta pay myself to do touch-ups on it. I fetched zoey to AC and went home, i was so pissed looking at it and i told myself not to drive to the lakeside anymore. I mean come on how could you be so irresponsible? I guess you guys know how it feels right? i dont wish to exaggerate here but sighhhhh what to do, dont even know who did it.
So basically lakeside gave me a very bad and painful experience, to those readers who are reading this, do you guys feel that the security at the campus is rather bad? i see alot of other college students coming to our campus and walking around like it's their own campus. I thought outsiders are not allowed? all this problems need to be improved and i reckon that the management should be aware of what's happening, anyway i gotta continue on my css assignment now peeps. More update on lakeside soon aye. tata

The end of the hols
Just a blink of an eye and here comes sunday, quick huh? I just returned from ipoh on saturday and it feels to me like the holidays just started, ahhhh as we all know the holidays are never enough to satisfy. Unpacked and ironed some clothes just now and now im here blogging about the holidays, urgh! i seriously hate myself when i come to a pause during my blog entry, i just dont know how to write and spill it all out here. I've read a few blogs that belongs to some of my course mates, they seem to have the same problem too, well is it that hard to just type out whats on your mind?
I personally have no special talent in blogging or writing, since young my parents know that im the kind who doesn't like writing and doing essays or such that involves me putting in my own words, but for now since i've enrolled into mass communication, its high time i practice and start learning how to blog and give statements or whatsoever. So for the readers who are reading this blog please excuse me if i have vocab errors or i totally suck in blogging k?
Tomorrow's the day that we're gonna be back on track, cant wait for the new start at the lakeside campus, good luck for you guys who are driving there and have fun looking for parking, well for me i am riding my bike there and i assume there's definitely space for me to park my bike, hopefully it doesn't starts raining. shesh! been finding some sources and advertisements online for miss k's assignment and i haven't found the right one, feel like elaborating something on motorsports *grins
going to pyramid later to have dinner with my aunt and cousin, gotta do some shopping for the house too, this is one of the reasons i decided to come back a day earlier just to do some cleaning and sorting out for the house.
Anyway i've been eyeing the new HTC HD 2, they say its kinda fun and user friendly but unfortunately i think its a lil overpriced and i may not need sucha expensive/high end phone, most importantly it serves my needs right? and talking bout phones..........the other day i used the garmin gps that i installed on my n85 to help me find my way to the kompleks sukan negara to fetch a friend from ipoh, I was from sunway and i could have got there way faster if i used the kesas highway, but i was so stupid and i followed the gps directions, it took me through the putrajaya way and i approximately spent almost an hour trying to reach there, the sad part was i wasted at least 7 bucks toll! i could instead use to kesas way and just pay 2.20, here's a head's up for those who are new users, it's better to ask around first rather than just following the gps blindly.
Overall i felt that i've enjoyed myself during the holidays and at least i got back to my hometown to get together with the family, not forgetting my friends and classmates that i got together with few days ago, i felt good and warm, alright i think im gonna wrap this up and start getting on the notes, more updates coming next week aye peepo's. Have a joyful day aye? bye bye :D
